The most important Christian holiday is quickly approaching. Is your church ready for Easter? This is a great opportunity to share the greatest story of sacrificial love with your friends, neighbors and community!
Social media is an excellent tool to reach those in your community who may have never heard about Christ’s love and His plan for salvation. With Facebook ads, you can invite people within a specific geographic location or demographic to your special service. One of the keys to a successful ad campaign is a quality graphic or image. I realize not everyone is well versed in Photoshop, but there are a lot of free resources available to churches.
A couple of months ago, I posted 10 Favorite Sites for Free Images, which provides a list of several helpful websites. However the following links provide social media graphics, templates, videos and other resources specifically for Easter:
- Once again, Life.Church to the rescue! Their comprehensive collection of Easter graphics (.psd and .ai files), worship sets, messages and kids curriculum will provide everything you need to get started.
- Church Motion Graphics provides a variety of free templates, gradients, stills, and motion titles for your worship service.
- Although these resources are a couple of years old, 12 Stone Church offers free videos, sermon notes and graphics to cover every aspect of your worship experience.
- If you haven’t checked out Sunday Social, you can sign up for a $7/month membership which gives you access to a new social media graphic every day. They have an extensive Easter collection which you can use to promote your special service.
I would love to hear what your church is planning to do to embrace your community this Easter. What creative ideas do you have for promoting your Easter service? Please share your ideas by commenting below.
